Clarksburg Sour

Makes 1 drink

  • 1½ ounces Chenin Blanc
  • ¾ ounce green chartreuse
  • ½ ounce Dolin dry vermouth
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Splash of rose water
  • 1 egg white
  • Orange bitters

Fill martini glass with ice and water, set aside.

Combine all ingredients but the bitters (when shaken with no ice the technique is referred to as a “dry” shake) in a shaker. Shake vigorously for 20-25 seconds, remove lid,  add a cup of ice and shake 10-15 seconds more. This method will help the egg white incorporate with the other ingredients and give you a proper chill. Strain into empty martini glass. Top with five or so drops of orange bitters and a small slice of citrus.

Vineyard Mule

Makes 1 drink

  • 4 oz. dry white wine (like Vermentino, Sauvignon Blanc, Albarino)
  • 3 oz. ginger beer
  • juice of half a lime

Fill glass with ingredients, and stir.  Add ice and a slice of lime. Enjoy!
